Cedarbrook Camp Southern California is a Christ-centered overnight summer camp nestled in the scenic San Bernardino Mountains near Big Bear Lake, California. Founded in 1946, the camp has been faithfully serving youth and families for generations by providing spiritually enriching programs that promote personal growth, biblical understanding, and a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. As a member of the Association of Cedarbrook Camps, the ministry is rooted in Scripture and committed to developing servant leaders through dynamic, outdoor experiences.
The camp offers coeducational summer sessions for children and teens that focus on spiritual discipleship, leadership development, and outdoor adventure. Campers participate in hands-on activities that include archery, ropes courses, swimming, hiking, and nature exploration, all while being guided by trained Christian mentors who model Christ-like character and care. These shared experiences are designed to inspire spiritual awakening, build confidence, and create meaningful, Christ-centered friendships.
Cedarbrook Camp Southern California also offers seasonal retreats and events such as the Mother/Daughter Weekend and Women’s Retreats, which provide multi-generational bonding and refreshment in a faith-filled setting. These gatherings extend the camp’s mission beyond the summer, offering year-round opportunities for connection, worship, and growth.
The 2025 summer schedule includes two coed camp sessions taking place July 13–19 and July 20–26. A special Mother/Daughter Weekend is planned for May 2–4, offering a unique pre-season experience for families seeking time together in God’s presence. Families are encouraged to register early to ensure availability.
