Dianne Liddy
Dianne Liddy is a Trustee of the Association of Cedarbrook Camps. Dianne’s career with camp began in her freshman year at Detroit Bible College when Jan Kresin recruited her to be on staff at Huron Forest Camp Cherith. While on staff she was a counselor, DD, horse wrangler, and leading various activities at Huron Forest Camp Cherith until she graduated. She then became employed by Pioneer Clubs and had many years of working in the development department and then as the camp administrator with the Camp Cherith camps. In 1991, her 2nd to last year working with Pioneer Clubs, she ran the Camp Cherith conference in Geneva Bay, WI. It was at this point the camps began to separate from Pioneer Clubs and the camp Task Force was formed.
The camps that she has either directed or was on staff with are Huron Forest Camp Cherith (CedarRidge), Camp Cherith in the Adirondacks, Camp Cherith in PA, Saguaro Camp Cherith, Land o’ Lincoln Camp Cherith, NeKaMo Camp Cherith, and Trail Ridge Camp Cherith.
After 23 years on staff, she retired from Camp Cedarbrook in the Adirondacks and moved back to Michigan, her home state. For the last six years she has worked at Huron Forest Camp CedarRidge. And of course, her dog, Rosie, goes with her. Several of Dianne’s nieces and nephews attended different Cedarbrook camps through the years.
